Our leukopak sare apheresis-derived products drawn directly into a sample collection bag containing ACDA as an anticoagulant. These products contain primarily white blood cells with high concentrations of mononuclear cells, B cells, T cells, monocytes, stem/progenitor cells, and mall amounts of other subsets of cells.

Our bone marrow products are donated by healthy donors. All of our human hematologic products are shipped at ambient temperature, unless requested otherwise and should be used or processed immediately upon receipt. All PPA Research Group’s Donors are pre-screened forHIV-1 and 2, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C, HTLV-I/II, and Syphilis. If the donor has been screened within 3 months of donation the product will be shipped with negative test results from donor screening. If the donor has not been screened within 3 months of collection, a test sample will be taken at the time of donation and the product will be shipped before the screening results are available. In the unlikely event that a test result is positive, the customer will be contacted as soon as possible (usually within 24 – 72 hours from the time of shipment).
We recommend handling all products with precautions in biological safety level 2, as a precaution. When handling these products do not use sharps such as needles and syringes. PPA’s cannot guarantee the biological function or any other properties associated with the performance of cells in a researcher’s individual assay or culture systems.
More information about our Leukopak
Full/Half/Quarter Pack The normal peripheral blood mononuclear cells are collected from healthy donors in full/half/quarter collection sizes. For the full leukopakabout10-12 blood volumes are processed using the apheresis machine and between about 80mL of autologous plasma is collected at the same time as the mononuclear cells.
There are a number of suppliers of mobilized leukopak products today on US market. PPA’s is one of the leading providers of mobilized leukopak products that uses G-CSF (Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor) stimulation in normal healthy donors. The protocols in use at PPA Research Group’s for Mobilized Peripheral Blood products have been approved by an IRB.
Customized Mobilized Leukopak
PPA’s also offers customized mobilized leukopaks with Plerixafor (Mozobil®) or a combination of Plerixafor (Mozobil®) and Neupogen mobilization of stem cells from healthy donors. Mozobil has been particularly beneficial as an adjuvant stem cell mobilization agent on top of the G-CSF regimen. The Mozobil regimen requires only 1 injection versus the G-CSF 5 day protocol. For inquiry, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PPA’s leukopaks are for in vitro research use only; not approved for human or veterinary use in vivo.
